For my final project at university, I created a short documentary about Bangladesh and the history behind its inception. It was an important body of work for me; my family hailing from Sylhet ourselves. I also created a complimentary zine advertising the documentary too, all for the sake of raising awareness about the true meaning behind the independence of Bangladesh.

One of my goals in 2023 was to shoot a short film, this was met with a well-timed project given to me via my Photography and Video module at university. Artist’s Block represents the mental hurdle creatives can get sometimes, while many have different solutions, my personal one typically points to remembering old friends and memories for inspiration.
